I commend your editorial for telling your readers that Filipino war veterans fought more than 40 years before finally receiving their due recognition for defending the United States against Japan.

What is worth noting is that their children are systematically excluded from many governmental opportunities in all levels of U.S. government in spite of their high qualifications and outstanding work records.
