SAVE IT: How easy can water rationing be (B1)? Sometimes, quite easy, says the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. It says the No. 1 residential waste is water for lawns that ends up on sidewalks and driveways. Indoors, leaky toilets are the biggest sinners. Fixing toilets and adjusting sprinkler heads may be all it takes to conserve.
