NAMESAKE: Workers at the Midway City post office sent a 25-pound package of potato chips, dip, magazines and other goodies last month addressed only to “any service member in the Navy or Marines” in Operation Desert Shield. . . . It so happens the package ended up on the aircraft carrier Midway, and 10 sailors dashed off a thank-you note.
