Ellerbee Returns: Linda Ellerbee, who left NBC News in 1986, will return to the network in an entertainment show next month, producing and appearing in two of her own segments on NBC’s new “Sunday Best” series, which will premiere Jan. 13. One segment will be a compilation of quirky news items. The other is called “This Week in TV History.” The one-hour series, airing opposite CBS’ top-rated “60 Minutes” and ABC’s “Life Goes On,” also plans to rerun highlights of NBC shows broadcast in the preceding week.
