Merry Christmas, Mom: Geraldo Rivera will help Americans in Saudi Arabia get a dose of home for the holidays. Today “Geraldo” will be seen not only in the United States, but in 130 countries and on every ship in the Persian Gulf as part of a special Christmas Eve edition paying tribute to U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia. The program, which will be carried to the foreign countries by the Armed Forces Network, hooks men and women in Saudi Arabia up with their family members in “Geraldo’s” studio audience in New York City. Christmas messages will be exchanged on a split screen. The show airs locally on CBS at 4 p.m.
