Fuel Prices Hit Four-Month Low: Motorists are paying the lowest average gasoline price in nearly four months, the American Automobile Assn. reported. AAA said the average price of self-serve regular unleaded has fallen 8.9 cents since Dec. 18 to $1.282 a gallon--the largest price drop since Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait on Aug. 2. The average price of self-serve unleaded has not been this low since Sept. 5, when the nationwide price averaged $1.273 per gallon. Fuel prices are down in all regions of the country, AAA said.
