COUNTYWIDE : Public Invited to Discuss CSU Impact
Area residents who want to help guide a study on the environmental impacts of a proposed Cal State University campus in Ventura County may comment in Oxnard on Thursday.
Cal State officials plan a session from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Oxnard Hilton to determine the issues to be studied in the environmental document.
Cal State is considering four sites for a campus. They include 312 acres near Harbor Boulevard and Gonzales Road northwest of Oxnard, 300 acres south of Wooley Road between Rose and Rice avenues south of Oxnard, 589 acres near Central and Santa Clara avenues west of Camarillo, and 448 acres south of Foothill Road between Wells and Kimball roads northeast of Ventura.
