MOVIN’ OUT: The housing market has slipped in Orange County, but outsiders aren’t rushing in to take advantage. John Lewis, a management recruiter, says his firm is transferring more people out of the state than in because of layoffs in the aerospace industry and people’s desire for cheaper homes. . . . Those moving in are mainly from big cities; rural dwellers can’t afford Orange County housing. Lewis says winter moves from the Midwest are popular because of the weather.
