Daily News Strikers Occupy Bureau: Ten striking New York Daily News reporters and editors were arrested after they took over the paper’s news bureau in Brooklyn and said it was the beginning of a campaign aimed at the newspaper’s parent company. The strikers were arrested without incident when police acting at the request of the Daily News management, entered the office. They were charged with criminal trespass, handcuffed and taken to the 84th Precinct, where they received desk appearance tickets and were released police said.
