CLIPBOARD : North County Taxable Sales

North county taxable sales topped $1.4 billion in the second quarter of 1990, the most recent period for which information is available. But that was practically the same amount as last year’s comparable quarter. Retailers actually suffered a collective 1% decline. Large gains in both retail and total taxable sales in Brea and Yorba Linda were offset by declines in Anaheim and Fullerton, the two dominant municipal economies in the area.
