Registration of Assault Guns

In response to your editorial “A Gun Law to Be Proud Of” (Jan. 1):

I recommend to all shooters and sportsmen who have the slightest interest in continuing their sports, to run, not walk, to their checkbooks and become life members of the NRA. You gun grabbers will not be satisfied until there is a 50-year waiting period to purchase an air rifle.
