SINGAPORE —
A U.S. Air Force general arrived Thursday for four days of talks on increased U.S. use of military facilities in the city-state, a U.S. Embassy spokesman said.
The commander of the U.S. Pacific Air Forces, Lt. Gen. J. B. Davis, will discuss with local defense officials implementation of a pact recently signed by the two nations to allow more access by military planes and ships.
