Greek Troops on Alert

ATHENS —
The Greek armed forces were put on alert Monday and all military leaves were canceled due to the crisis situation in the Persian Gulf, the Defense Ministry said. Army units are guarding oil refineries to avert possible guerrilla attacks, and all military hospitals are on alert to receive the injured if war breaks out.
