3 Paintings Worth $147,000 Stolen From Gallery
Thieves broke into a San Pedro art gallery early Saturday and stole $147,000 worth of paintings, according to Los Angeles Port Police.
Millie Martin, administrator of DeAnna’s Parkhurst Ports O’ Call Village Gallery, said three original oil paintings by Southern California artist Marty Bell were taken in the robbery.
Security guards reported the theft about 7:30 a.m., Martin said. The gallery is offering a reward for any information regarding the break-in.
