Civil Rights and Quotas
Bethell, in his Column Right, is in my estimation Column Wrong.
I realize that stupidity is often used in the service of malice. Just ask Eichmann. The remarks in the column just appeal to the uninformed and unenlightened, oh, but very righteous among us.
How can we expect right answers to the dilemmas that confront us on this despoiled planet unless we ask the right questions? Where are the wise men of this world? Is Madonna all there is?
