Money Supply Mixed: The Federal Reserve Board reported that the measure known as M2 rose in the week ended Jan. 14 to a seasonally adjusted $3,316.9 billion from a revised $3,314.5 billion the week before. An even broader measure, M3, rose to a seasonally adjusted $4,093.3 billion from a revised $4,081.3 billion. The narrowest measure of the money supply, M1, fell to a seasonally adjusted $820.5 billion from a revised $824.7 billion.
