CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : SANTA ROSA : Salcido Case to Cost More Than $500,000

Salcido’s bloody wine country killing rampage will cost Sonoma County taxpayers more than $500,000 by the time the final legal expenses are tallied, according to Greg Abel, an administrative analyst for the county administrator’s office. Salcido was convicted last year of killing six family members and a co-worker in April, 1989.
