Lawrence R. Boxer has been named chief financial officer of GB Foods Corp. and Lynn E. Barnard has joined the company as chief of operations for the Santa Ana company, which operates a chain of 35 Green Burrito restaurants. Boxer’s previous experience includes positions at the accounting firms of KPMG Peat Marwick and Coopers & Lybrand. Barnard has more than 16 years of restaurant management experience with Del Taco, El Torito Restaurants and Kentucky Fried Chicken. In addition, Robert F. Dooley has been named vice president, franchise development. Dooley had previously been director of franchising at LaSalsa, a chain of Mexican restaurants. He has also developed franchise programs for Conroy’s Flowers, Orange Julius, Mom’s Home Made Ice Cream and Fotomat Corp.
