WORLD : Mafia Victim’s Brother Slain

CATANIA, Sicily —
A 22-year-old barber was shot to death today as he prayed at the tomb of his brother, killed in a Mafia ambush 11 years ago, police reported.
The Italian news agency ANSA quoted investigators as saying they believed that the shooting of Maurizio Colombrita was part of a vendetta by one gangland family. Two other members of a rival clan have been killed in Catania in recent weeks.
