Atlanta-based Georgia-Pacific Corp. has completed the sale of its interest in its French operation to International Paper Co. of Purchase, N.Y., for $102 million . . . The number of working oil and gas rigs in the United States dropped by 14 to 1,051 this week after rising by 17 the previous week, according to Houston-based Baker Hughes Inc. A year ago there were 937 working rigs.
