Alaska Air Group Inc.: The parent of Alaska Airlines Inc. and Horizon Air Industries Inc. reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $10.1 million, contrasted with a profit of $2.5 million a year earlier. Revenue in the period climbed 15% to $257.2 million. For the year, the Seattle-based firm’s profit plummeted 60% to $17.2 million on revenue of $1.05 billion, up 14%. The company attributed the results to rising fuel costs and widespread industry price discounting.
