Embassy Suites Settles Dispute: Embassy Suites Inc. said it has reached agreement to settle its disputes with franchisees Robert Woolley and Charles M. Sweeney and the partnerships they control. According to Clyde E. Culp, president of Embassy Suites’ hotel division, the agreement provides for: dismissal of all lawsuits and arbitration involving the parties; payment to Embassy Suites, and immediate removal of eight Woolley and Sweeney franchised hotels from the Embassy Suites system. Five of the hotels are in California. They are located in Anaheim, El Segundo, Milpitas, Napa Valley and Santa Ana.
