COSTA MESA : OCC Offers Math, Career Workshops
The Re-Entry Center at Orange Coast College will hold two free workshops next month to help people interested in returning to school.
The first, a “math anxiety” workshop, is scheduled for Feb. 7 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the college’s math laboratory.
Another workshop designed to help people plan their careers is scheduled for Feb. 7, 14 and 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Re-Entry Center.
The workshop will examine personal interests, abilities and values to discover careers that are best suited for the participants.
The Re-Entry Center is designed to help people who want to return to school after a break in their academic careers or are interested in making career changes or acquiring new job skills.
