The Orange County Coalition for Freedom of Expression, a group of arts activists, may reform into a part-time alliance to respond to crises only, says co-founder Naida Osline. Members of the volunteer organization don’t have time for weekly meetings which are not now necessary, Osline said, “but we’re definitely there” and will remain active. The coalition staged several public demonstrations last year to protest what it perceived as clamps on freedom of expression.
