Fisher’s article certainly proves that the ladies have no corner on the vanity market. It also proves that Fisher is a relatively young man. Those of us who were 98-pound weaklings in the 1940s know very well that Charles Atlas supplied no exercise equipment. His course was based on pitting one muscle against another without the aid of any equipment whatsoever.
