Record Year for Wine Exports: The total value of U.S. wine exports, more than 95% California-produced, is expected to reach a record $120 million for 1990, according to industry estimates. This represents a 22% increase over the previous year and more than triple the level of five years ago, according to the Wine Institute, the San Francisco-based industry association of California wineries.
