Lincoln-Mercury to Offer Van: Ford Motor Co.’s Lincoln-Mercury division said it will enter the minivan market next year through a joint venture with Japan’s Nissan Motor Co. to build the Mercury Villager. The first minivans are expected to roll out of the Avon Lake, Ohio, plant in April, 1992. The Villager will go on sale in the summer of 1992 as a 1993 model, said Ross H. Roberts, Lincoln-Mercury general manager.
