Iraq still has enough enriched uranium to build a PRIMITIVE NUCLEAR BOMB even though its nuclear reactors have been bombed, some officials and analysts believe. Israeli bombers destroyed a large reactor in 1981, and U.S. planes have bombed nuclear research facilities. But the whereabouts of an estimated 48 pounds of enriched uranium, of which 27 pounds are highly enriched, remains a mystery.
