Richard S. Madenburg has joined Parson Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas Inc. as vice president and deputy West Coast group manager for marketing in Orange. He will be responsible for strengthening the engineering firm’s emphases on the environmental, water resources, energy and mining markets. Madenburg previously was business development director for the Ralph M. Parsons Co.

Before that, he was with Morrison Knudsen as director of advanced technology.
