Thomas M. Asher, HemaCare’s chairman, said the two resigned because of disagreements with the rest of the board “on some of our long-term strategies.” In their places, Joseph Ashley, chief executive of ProCyte Corp. in Kirkland, Wash., and Glenn Bartlett, manager of business development for Beckman Instruments Inc. in Fullerton, were named to the board, effective Feb. 15. HemaCare said it currently has two more vacancies on the board, and said that when those positions are filled there will be three inside directors and four outside directors.
