German newspapers have published excerpts of an OUT-OF-PRINT BOOK OF SADDAM HUSSEIN’S WORDS titled “Unser Kampf” or “Our Struggle” that chillingly echoes the tone of Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” or “My Struggle.” In it, Hussein describes his main aims as waging war to unite Arabs against the West; splitting Japan, Europe and the United States with a clever oil policy, and substituting a Palestinian state for Israel, the papers said. “We believe in a policy of tension, in the preparation of war, and the development of its means and efficacy,” the book was quoted as saying. Two German libraries with collections on the Islamic world confirmed the book’s existence but said it is hard to obtain.
