Lithuanian Independence
Before Lithuania was occupied by the Soviet Union in 1940, it had been a full-fledged member of the League of Nations for many years. The League of Nations was the predecessor to the current United Nations.
Therefore, if members of United Nations are fighting Iraq to free Kuwait, an occupied member of U.N., it follows that members of the United Nations, including United States, should confront the Soviet Union to free Lithuania, a member of the League of Nations.
