IRANIAN Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Velayati said a delegation from nonaligned countries will travel to Iraq as soon as possible to try to end the Gulf War, Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency reported. A delegation from Iran, Cuba, Yugoslavia and India had planned to leave for Baghdad on Sunday, but it was advised by Iraq to postpone the visit in light of the allied ground assault. EGYPTIAN police used clubs and tear gas to disperse stone-throwing university students who protested the war. About 3,000 students marched at Cairo University, Egypt’s largest, chanting: “Iraq will not die!” At Ain Shams University, across the city, 3,000 to 4,000 students held a protest.
