Former pro Johnny Revolta, who taught himself to play with a homemade club and won more than 40 tournaments, is dead at 79. He had been a teaching professional at the Mission Hills club in Rancho Mirage since 1966. He died Sunday in Palm Springs.
Services will be Thursday at St. Joan of Arc Church in Skokie, Ill.
