For dedicated gardeners, here are suggestions from the California Assn. of Nurserymen on what to do in the garden this week:

* Prune your spring flowers after they’ve finished blooming. This includes wisteria vine. Fuchsia and geraniums should also be pinched back now.

* Don’t miss out on the wonderful flowers from summer bulbs. Plant them now.

* Plant citrus trees that are available in regular size trees and dwarf size trees and in a wide variety of fruit.

* Integrate herbs into the garden by planting rosemary and woolly thyme as a ground cover. Place chives in there with your annuals or simply allocate some containers to grow them.
