Boiler Accident Disables Navy Ship in Caribbean

MAYPORT NAVAL STATION, Fla. — A boiler accident Saturday left a Navy frigate dead in the water while on a routine Caribbean patrol. None of the 308 crew members aboard the 441-foot W. S. Sims was injured, officials said. The cause of the accident was under investigation.
