Allocation of State’s Water

A thought or two on a 10% cutback in my water. I am a bachelor. I have three plates and seven forks.

There is no vegetation in my yard. I lost my washing machine a few months back to an undisclosed mechanical virus and have been hitting laundromats ever since.

I drink only bottled water from a friendly truck. My dogs enjoy the same in their dish.

My few friends have long complimented me on how little precious water I waste on luxuries like showers. I have never washed my vehicle in the yard. My toilet is flushed no more than twice a day and I have bricks within it to reduce the water required.

Will some oracle from the Department of Water and Power or the city please let me in on how the devil I’m supposed to cut back on 10% of this?

Sure wish I’d wasted some water a while back.
