World IN BRIEF : ALBANIA : U.N. Plane Brings 20 Tons of Food

A U.N. plane landed in Tirana, the Albanian capital, with 20 tons of food intended to help prevent a new exodus of refugees. The Norwegian-donated Hercules C-130 was said by authorities to be the first military plane from a North Atlantic Treaty Organization country to land in Albania, which for decades rejected ties with both the Eastern and Western blocs.
