Pernilla Wiberg, 20, of Sweden, capped her first full year on the World Cup ski tour by winning the final slalom of the women’s season at Waterville, N.H. The victory moved her into second place in the final slalom standings behind Austria’s Petra Kronberger.

Since joining the tour for the final two races last March, Wiberg has won two slaloms and a giant slalom as well as the giant slalom gold medal in the world Alpine ski championships in January.
