SEE YA AROUND: Dist. Atty. Michael R. Capizzi edged a step closer to a foe-free office Thursday with the retirement of Thomas Avdeef, a deputy district attorney for more than 21 years. Three deputies ran against Capizzi for the top job last November. . . . One runner-up left the office in December, another previously said he’s leaving at the end of the month and now Avdeef has gone. Avdeef says Capizzi “is probably happy I’m leaving” since the two had a “running feud” over a pay raise Avdeef didn’t get.
