SoCal Gas to Install Electric Fuel Cell: Southern California Gas Co. said it has the first-ever contract for commercial use of a so-called electric fuel cell powered by natural gas. The cell, being touted as a solution to the nation’s over-reliance on fossil fuels, will provide electricity, heat and steam for the building.
