Five-Year Yields Rise at Auction: Average yields on five-year Treasury notes rose at auction to 7.81%, up from 7.51% at the last auction on Feb. 21. It was the highest yield since five-year notes averaged 7.95% last Nov. 28. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 7.75%, with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,975.60. A total of $8.59 billion in notes was sold out of bids totaling $30.23 billion.
