Pro-Fireworks Vote Applauded
In response to the article regarding the continued use of safe and sane fireworks in the city of Carson:
I am affiliated with the Carson High School Boosters and I applaud the courageous decision of the council to continue the sale of safe and sane fireworks.
Their votes have proven to all the Carson High parents that the council people can indeed do what we elected them to do, take leadership and vote for the greater good.
Councilman (Michael) Mitoma has refused to come to terms with the fact that all of the fireworks-related fires for the past five years have been caused by illegal fireworks, not by the legal fireworks we sell.
History has proven that when legal fireworks are banned, the use of illegal fireworks skyrockets.
Let’s keep Carson “safe and sane.”
