Negotiators for baseball’s umpires and the American and National leagues met for six hours and will resume bargaining today.

“The only progress that was made was that the union made additional enormous concessions to the owners,” umpires union head Richie Phillips said, “but the owners continue to stonewall.”

Phillips declined to say what concessions the umpires made.
