Miami Dolphin linebacker Cliff Odom, hobbled by the same disease that is sidelining Bo Jackson of the Raiders and Chicago White Sox, has been cleared by his doctor to play next season. Odom, 32, underwent an operation on his hip last month that included a bone graft.

The Raiders and the Dolphins will play an exhibition game in Tokyo on Aug. 4.
