Amdahl Corp.: The computer company reported net income for the first quarter of $11.5 million, down from $29.9 million for the year-ago period. Revenue for the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company also declined to $442.7 million from $506.8 million last year. The company blamed the decline on softness in the European marketplace.
