Aaron Mossett, a June, 1990, graduate of Gardena High School, has been awarded a full scholarship of $65,000 by the Broadened Opportunity for Officer Selection and Training program sponsored by the U.S. Navy. Mossett will receive 11 months of college-preparatory training. Upon successfully completing that program, he will receive a guaranteed Navy ROTC scholarship to attend a college or university in the program or the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
