THOUSAND OAKS : Residents Reduce Water Use by 25%
Thousand Oaks residents cut water use by 25% in April over the same month a year ago, water officials said Wednesday.
It was the second month in a row that customers have achieved a substantial reduction, said Paul Swenson, city water conservation coordinator.
The city received only trace amounts of rainfall April 1, but “I’m sure we had a residual effect from the March rains,” Swenson said.
