Riots Erupt for 2nd Night in U.S. Capital

WASHINGTON —
Rock-throwing youths attacked police and property for a second night Monday in a Latino neighborhood, and officers responded with tear gas.
Several cars were torched, windows in several businesses were smashed and the driver and a dozen passengers were chased from a commuter bus in Mt. Pleasant, where a man was wounded during an arrest Sunday.
Several youths with baseball bats smashed the windows of a drugstore and began looting it.
At least two arrests were made.
