1,400 Employees Accept Chrysler Offer: The No. 3 domestic auto maker said more than 1,400 salaried workers have taken its early retirement or voluntary termination offers. Chrysler, which is trying to cut annual costs by $3 billion, had offered the options to 3,000 white-collar workers.
